I'm Miranda Shayden. Our teacher, Mrs Hornbell is making our class write the first email. This really sucks because I don't really know what to say. But she's making us write all about ourselves... and I can't think of anything better.

I'm 14, and I live in Gooseberry Hills, with my brother, my baby sister, my parents and my dog. My brother, who I don't consider a brother at all, is called Tyler. He's 12 and he's an environmental geek. My baby sister is almost 2, and she's crazy about banana baby food. Her name's Becky. My dad's 44 and my mum's 41.

I have two really good friends, one of them [my best friend] is Louise Graham, she's in the same class as me, so she'd be writing to someone in you're class. My other good friend is Claire Foster. She's really talkative and chatty, she gets annoying sometimes, but I still like her .

Oh, I almost forgot Amy, she's my dog. She's a labrador and extremely friendly. She's awesome, even though we haven't taught her any tricks.

This is Brett, as you probably noticed. It's nice to hear about your family, they seem really happy. Also, I love labradors, but mum's not letting us have any pets, especially dogs, because she says they're dirty and they smell a lot.

Our teacher's Ms. Turner, and she's making us write our first few emails during class, so she can keep and eye on us. I think your class does that too, right?

Now it's my turn. I'm 15, and I live in Esperence. I live with my brother and sister and my parents. My brother's 11, and he's really weird. Every time I walk into his room he's arm wrestling himself or doing aerobics. Strange. His name's Cameron, but we call him Cam. My sister's name is Charlotte [or Charlie], and she's 17. She's ncie to me most of the time, but her singing is terrible, and she does that a lot, especially in the shower. my mum's 40 and my dad's 43.
